Volunteer to Help

Your help…

We cannot offer this vital service to people in need in Scholes without a large group of volunteers. The people of Scholes will really appreciate whatever you can help with and the range of options means that everyone, even people who are self-isolating, can get involved (for instance, by volunteering to phone someone who is self-isolating).

Please complete this form to tell us how you can help. Alternatively you can call us on 0113 2892437 / 07512 314312 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). If the line is busy, please keep trying or email your name and phone number to this address and someone will call you back yourscholes@gmail.com.

Disclosure check…

All our volunteers must be disclosure checked before they start volunteering to ensure their safety and that of our residents. This check, and additional training, is provided by Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL). Once your details have been processed by us, they will be passed to VAL who will be in touch.

Your neighbours…

We also encourage everyone to please make sure that you support elderly and vulnerable neighbours by giving them a call and making sure they have everything they need or helping them to complete the form above. Download the Being a Good Neighbour pack for tips on how to help https://doinggoodleeds.org.uk/

If you know someone who needs more support than you are able to provide, please put them in touch with us or request support via our phone line or website on their behalf.

Your data…

The following form asks for your permission to share your details with the Your Scholes (Scholes Community Support Group) and Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL). If you do not select this option we may not be able to process your offer to help.
